Home School Community Liaison Coordinator - Sue Doherty
We are aware that parents are the first and primary educators of their children and have a very important role in the school community. We encourage their involvement and interest in all aspects of school life and look to them for support as partners in their children’s education.
Scoil Chroí Íosa is very fortunate to have a Home School Community Liaison Teacher, Sue Doherty. Sue is released from all teaching duties and engages in full-time liaison work between the home, the school, and the community.
Sue is available to speak to parents and/or visit them in their homes. She offers support and guidance and liaises with teachers and outside agencies to enable your child to fulfil his/her potential.
Sue also offers many opportunities for parents to become involved in school life and their child's education through activities, fundraising and further education.
